The city of Redlands is like taking a step back in time.  More than just another small town with a first class university, Redlands is steeped in approximately 150 years of history.  Much of that history can be seen by simply driving around and observing the Victorian houses, some of them mansions of the era, the citrus groves, and other signs of a very prosperous past.

Many people who live in Redlands can trace their roots in the city back for generations.  Folks simply do not want to leave.
